Three-layered woodblock print on 100% silk habutai. Each layer has been intricately hand-carved by us in the studio, inspired by traditional Japanese printmaking methods. Each layer of the design is printed separately over several days and intentionally misregistered; no two scarves will be the same. Inspiration for this scarf was taken from Hemlock, a poison that elicits blurred vision and vertigo.
For us, the making of this scarf has been about the beauty of process; taking the time to learn and respect a technique.
Original Hemlock artwork commission by tattoo artist Lucy Waldron. Find more of her work at https://www.instagram.com/lucyctattoos/?hl=en
PLEASE NOTE We are currently out of the studio for the Christmas break and are unavailable to ship orders until our return in the new year.
